Accounting & Tax CompliancePrepare and review financial statements for Australian tax entities, including companies, partnerships, trusts, and superannuation funds. Prepare and lodge Australian income tax returns, BAS, IAS, PAYG, payroll tax, and FBT returns. Develop and maintain high-quality supporting workpapers for compliance and audit purposes.2. Management Reporting & AdvisoryPrepare and interpret management reports, including budgeting and cash flow forecasting. Identify tax planning and financial optimization opportunities for clients. Assist in preparing complex client advice and strategic reports for managerial review.3. Team Leadership & DevelopmentReview financial statements and tax returns prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth. Play an active role in directing team workflow and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.4. Client Management & GrowthManage a portfolio of medium-sized clients, proactively identifying opportunities to support their business goals. Communicate complex financial concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing. Work independently with minimal reliance on senior advisors while collaborating with clients and internal teams.Qualifications & Skills✅Essential: Professional accounting qualification (CA Intermediate, CA, or CPA). Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles, taxation, and financial management. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.⭐Preferred: Prior experience in Australian tax compliance, financial reporting, and advisory services.
