Job OverviewThe Head of Civil will lead and manage the Civil Engineering division, overseeing the entire civil and structural design, project management, and construction processes for multiple large-scale projects across various sectors, including industrial, infrastructure, and commercial projects. This senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of design excellence, project delivery, and client satisfaction while managing and mentoring a diverse team of engineers and technical professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy: Lead and manage the Civil Engineering team, aligning engineering strategies with business goals and ensuring successful project delivery.Project Management: Oversee multiple complex projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Design Excellence: Approve and guide the design of industrial and infrastructure structures, ensuring adherence to codes, standards, and best practices. Experience in international codes and standard are preferable.Team Leadership: Mentor and manage senior engineers, providing guidance, fostering growth, and ensuring high team performance.Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, ensuring project needs are met and relationships are maintained.Value Engineering & Cost Management: Provide value engineering solutions and support cost estimation during the bidding stage.Construction Support: Resolve design and construction conflicts in real time, ensuring alignment between design and on-site construction activities.Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure seamless collaboration across departments and with external stakeholders to ensure project success.Quality & Compliance: Ensure projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and encourage innovative engineering solutions to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.QualificationsBachelor's/Master degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.Desired SkillsetsSoftware skill :- STAAD PRO, ETABS, SAP, STAAD FOUNDATION, Conversant with FEM based connection design tools like ideastatica, AutoCAD, Tekla, NavisworksExperienceMinimum of 20 years of experience leading cvil engineering aspects of Industrial projects
