Key Responsibilities:Data Collection & Management:Collect, organize, and maintain large datasets from various internal and external sources.Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of data by performing regular data cleansing and validation processes.Manage and monitor data pipelines, ensuring smooth integration with data platforms.Data Analysis & Reporting:Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that align with business objectives.Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings to improve decision-making processes.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:Work closely with business teams, IT, and leadership to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.Support various departments in understanding and utilizing data to improve processes and outcomes.Collaborate with data engineers and other analysts to optimize data workflows.Data Governance & Security:Implement best practices for data management and governance, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards are met.Continuous Improvement:Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new data technologies.Continuously improve data analytics methodologies, tools, and techniques.Skills and Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.Familiarity with data analysis tools such as R, Python, or SAS.Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.Experience with data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), and big data technologies is a plus.Analytical Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically about data and business needs.Proficiency in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across departments.Experience:2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis, data management, and reporting.Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail) is a plus.
