BITS Law School, Mumbai welcomes applications for Research Intern to join the Centre for Research in Innovation Law for Shared Prosperity Period: 6 months, subject to further extension of 3 months based on performanceType of Job: Hybrid. May require visit to the BITS Law School campus once in a monthJob Description and Key Requirements: The intern is expected to assist in planning, coordination, and execution of a course on Standard Essential Patents offered by BITS Law School for scholars and practitioners. It involves aiding in the preparation the content, course modules, and script for the course. The Research Intern will get an automatic entry to the Innovation Law & Policy Fellowship being offered by the Centre.Eligibility Criteria: a. Students in final year of a 5-year / 3-year LL.B. from a reputable law school with good grades. Students pursuing LLM and practitioners are also encouraged to apply.b. Courses and internships in Patent Law, especially Standard Essential Patents and Fair and Reasonable Licensing for SEPsc. Demonstrable evidence of strong academic research and legal writing skills in relevant areas.Offerings: a. A stipend of ₹10,000/- per month. The Centre will book and bear expenses for travel.b. Automatic Entry to Innovation Law & Policy Fellowshipc.
