We are excited to announce an opening for an IPC Author Proofreader/Quality Check/Peer Reviewer with 2.5-5 years of experience in the aerospace industry. This position provides an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about creating, updating, and maintaining Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC) and other technical manuals for various aircraft models.Key Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain IPC Manuals: Create, update, and ensure the accuracy of IPC manuals for different aircraft models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Proofreading and Editing: Proofread IPC manuals for clarity, consistency, and correctness, ensuring all documents adhere to company and industry quality standards.Collaboration and Verification: Collaborate with engineering teams and regulatory bodies to verify technical content and ensure alignment with aircraft design and regulatory requirements.Document Management and Modifications: Handle document revisions and updates, ensuring seamless modifications, from simple updates to complex revisions.Discrepancy Identification and Correction: Identify and address discrepancies in IPC documents, implementing corrective actions to improve quality and consistency.Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure our IPC manuals remain relevant and compliant.Proficiency in Tools and Software: Use advanced software tools such as GAMS, DACAS, Arbortext Editor, AIRINA, engineering drawings, and installation instructions to create and edit manuals.Skills & Expertise Required:Experience with S1000D, ATA iSpec2200, and ASD STE 100.Proficiency in document management systems and technical editing tools.Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and compliance.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
