Budget: 50 - 75 Lacs depending on the experience.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESControllershipOwnership of financial reporting and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Creation and maintenance of robust accounting and MIS system.Oversee the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Direct and Indirect taxes exposure and working knowledge are essential.Extensive knowledge of Income Tax, Tax withholding, GST etc.Strong over-sight on budgeting, cost control, cash flow management and financial complianceEstablish and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.Assess financial risks and implement effective Internal Control over Financial Reporting and mitigation of risks.Oversee the internal audit function and implementing the suggestions and recommendations of the internal auditors.Coordinate with statutory auditors and providing them with timely data, resolving their queries to enable the audit to be completed within industry leading timelines.Build, groom and manage the team to deliver expectations.Compliance and Regulatory MattersEffectively manage compliance and regulatory matters that are required from a statutory standpoint.Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and reporting requirements imposed by regulatory bodies and bring to the notice of the CEO of any noncompliance, litigation and the financial impact of such issues.Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and tax laws and ensure adherence to them.Effective management of regulatory authorities relating to any compliance issuesRequirementsCA with min 9+ years of post qualification experiencePrior experience as a Finance Controller / Head of Finance & Accounts
