What the role is all about:We're seeking an Engineer (2-3 years’ experience), to join the team at REA Cyber City. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the globe, to craft, build, and enhance solutions aimed at delivering outstanding user experiences.This is your chance to work on impactful projects that drive customer satisfaction and company growth. You'll work with latest technologies alongside talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment.While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include: Use your passion for software development to contribute towards creating a user experience that is platform-appropriate, seamless, and centered around human needs.Collaborate closely with a supportive team, communicating clearly and effectively.Learn and adopt clean and reusable code best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.Take part in exciting projects, developing and optimizing features that deliver exceptional user experiences and help us stay ahead of the curve.Working with direct leadership to understand business priorities and communicate technical options, review and report on progress and express ideas.We are constantly learning together, mentoring each other, and striving to do things better.Who we’re looking for:Our ideal candidate will have skills in some of the following areas, whilst demonstrating both a desire and commitment to learning others.Ability to handle backend API development tasksProficiency in programming languages/technologies commonly used by our squad, such as C#, , Core for RESTful Web APIs, JSON, XML, etc.Good knowledge of relational and non-relational database solutionsFamiliarity with agile methodologies and tools.Good awareness of TDD and unit testingUnderstanding of design patterns, modern software development techniques and continuous delivery strategies.A willingness to tackle challenges with a solutions-focused approach, learning from experiences and adapting strategies.Demonstrates initiative and manages time effectively.Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders.Exposure of cloud platforms such AWS / Microsoft AzureBonus points for:Experience in using and managing Cloud infrastructure in AWS.Experience with Infrastructure as Code techniques.Knowledge of Splunk, PagerDuty and New Relic platformsMicroservices architectureExperience working on Integration projects and Performance tunningWhat we offer: A hybrid and flexible approach to working.Transport options to help you get to and from work, including home pick-up and drop-off.Meals provided on site in our office.Flexible leave options including parental leave, family care leave and celebration leave.Insurances for you and your immediate family members.Programs to support mental, emotional, financial and physical health & wellbeing.Continuous learning and development opportunities to further your technical expertise.The values we live by:Our values are at the core of how we operate, treat each other, and make decisions.
