The ideal candidate is also required to provide leadership, management, and guidance to the Payroll Team.Key Responsibilities :- Manage the overall payroll functions including, payroll processing, payroll taxes, reviewing and revising policies and procedures, as well as internal controls, system review, and upgrade - Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential - Support with the preparation of reports to ensure that all advances and deductions from salaries are processed on time and accurately every month - Manage the payroll team and ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to, in a consistent way and that non-compliance and complaint processes are correctly utilized to implement continuous improvement process - Ensure all payrolls run on time and within agreed Service Level Agreements regularly - Prepare payroll reports for submission to the senior management and finance department, review them before submission to identify any discrepancies, and implement advised corrective measures to ensure they do not repeat - Diagnose payroll problems and implement advised corrective and preventative measures to improve efficiency and effectiveness - Support the preparation of payroll metrics reports for monthly payouts that support the payroll budget and reports for division finance teams and ad-hoc request inquiries from Finance, Treasury, Tax, and internal/external auditorsWhat you'll need:- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration or any related field - 6+ years of relevant experience working in a fast-paced environment or startup - Extensive experience in stakeholder management - Self-starter and has the ability to take ownership - Strong project management skills and has the ability to multitask - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Can-do attitude and strong team playerWho will excel?We’re looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
