We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee all aspects of the resort’s operations and ensure unparalleled guest satisfaction while driving profitability.Position: General ManagerLocation: Guwahati, IndiaReports To: Owner/Board of DirectorsKey Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership & Operations Management• Provide visionary leadership to all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa, Sales, Finance, HR, and Engineering).• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining the highest luxury service standards.• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, enhance guest experiences, and improve operational efficiency.• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance to ensure profitability.2. Guest Experience & Service Excellence• Uphold and exceed 5-star hospitality standards, ensuring an unmatched luxury experience for all guests.• Monitor guest feedback, resolve complaints, and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.• Ensure staff is well-trained in exceptional customer service and hospitality protocols.3. Sales, Marketing & Business Development• Drive revenue growth through sales, marketing, corporate tie-ups, and digital promotions.• Work with the Sales & Marketing team to attract high-profile guests, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events), and destination weddings.• Build partnerships with travel agencies, luxury brands, and tourism boards to enhance visibility and bookings.4. Team Leadership & HR Development• Lead a team of 500+ employees, ensuring high morale, training, and professional growth.• Foster a positive, professional, and performance-driven culture.• Oversee hiring, training, and retention of top-tier hospitality talent.5. Financial & Compliance Management• Develop and oversee the annual budget, P&L, and cost management strategies.• Ensure compliance with all government regulations, safety standards, and brand SOPs.• Drive cost efficiency without compromising on luxury service quality.Requirements & Qualifications:• 15+ years of experience in luxury hotel/resort management, with at least 5 years as a General Manager of a large-scale 5-star property.• Strong background in operations, guest services, sales & revenue management, and financial planning.• Proven ability to handle large-scale resorts (250+ rooms) and expansive properties.• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.• Experience working with high-profile guests, celebrities, and VIP clientele is a plus.
