Position: US Billing Data and Analytics(Lead/Deputy/Assistant Manager)Location: Chennai Duration: Full timeNotice Period: Max 60 daysSalary: 7-13 LPA (Depending on level of experience)Work mode: 5 days/weekShift hours: 10-7 pm/ 12- 9 pm/ 2 pm -11 pmLevel of experience: 6+ YearsPosition Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented US Billing Data and Analytics Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on analyzing billing data specific to the US market, ensuring the accuracy of billing transactions, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making and process optimization. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Finance, Operations, and Customer Service, to ensure smooth billing processes and enhance financial reporting for the US region.Key Responsibilities:US Billing Data Management:Analyze large sets of billing data specific to US customers and revenue streams.Review and validate billing information, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all US billing transactions.Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in billing data for US accounts.Billing Reporting and Insights:Develop and deliver regular billing reports focused on US accounts, including revenue trends, invoicing issues, and payment statuses.Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams to inform business decisions and strategic planning.Automate billing data reports and dashboards for real-time access to key performance indicators (KPIs).Process Optimization:Collaborate with the Finance, IT, and Operations teams to streamline billing workflows and enhance data processing accuracy.Recommend and implement process improvements to minimize manual work, reduce errors, and optimize the US billing cycle.Work with the US Billing team to integrate feedback and continually improve billing systems and methodologies.Compliance and Accuracy:Ensure that all US billing activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.Assist in the preparation for audits and ensure that all US billing data is correctly recorded for reporting and compliance purposes.Collaboration Across Departments:Act as the liaison between the Billing team and other departments (Sales, Customer Service, Operations) to resolve billing issues and discrepancies for US clients.Provide recommendations and support to improve customer invoicing, pricing structures, and overall billing accuracy.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:Respond to and investigate customer inquiries related to billing, charges, and payment discrepancies.Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and errors in the US billing system and work with relevant teams to implement solutions.Forecasting and Trend Analysis:Analyze historical billing data to forecast future billing patterns and revenue trends.Support the Finance team in forecasting and revenue recognition related to US accounts.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related field.Certifications in data analytics, finance, or accounting are a plus but not required.Experience:6+ years of experience in billing, financial data analysis, or a related role, with a focus on US-based operations.Experience with US billing systems, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards specific to the US market (e.g., SOX, GAAP).Skills and Competencies:Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex billing data and identify actionable insights.In-depth understanding of US billing processes, invoicing, and revenue recognition.Experience with billing platforms (e.g., Oracle ERP, Zuora, Aria, SAP Billing) is preferred.Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and suggesting improvements.Preferred:Experience with US-specific tax regulations and compliance requirements.Experience in automating reporting and improving billing systems.Why Join Us:Impact: Play a key role in optimizing billing processes and driving business insights for the US market.Growth: Opportunities for career development and professional advancement.Culture: Join a collaborative and dynamic work environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.
