Join us in connecting people to commerce in this vital, rewarding role.Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for client-related business processes or for internal use. Develops and ensures execution of strategies to reduce overall procurement costs and raise the efficiency levels of purchasing activity.Responsibilities:Provides procurement services for a location, department or designated business unit.Performs day-to-day purchasing for assigned area(s).Follows standard policies and procedures to identify appropriate vendors, secure the best price and establish delivery terms.Enters, confirms and expedites purchase orders, in accordance with company procedures.Maintains file system for purchase orders and correspondence.Reviews onsite inventory levels and issues / modifies orders for stock replenishment.Supports departmental goals for expense management, high service levels and excess inventory reduction.Generates monthly and other periodic reports.Required Qualifications:Diploma or equivalent work experience required.Minimum of 0-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Procurement.Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
