Job Title:Chartered Accountant (CA) for a Manufacturing co at Pondicherry Location:Pondicherry Department:Finance & Accounts Reports To:CFO/Finance Head/Plant Head Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-orientedChartered Accountant (CA)to manage the financial operations, compliance, and strategic financial planning of ourmanufacturing plant . The ideal candidate will have experience incosting, taxation, audits, and financial analysiswithin the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Management & Reporting Overseefinancial planning, budgeting, and forecastingfor the plant. Prepare and analyzefinancial statements, P&L accounts, and balance sheets . Ensurecost controland optimize manufacturing expenses. Monitorworking capital, cash flow, and fund management . 2. Costing & Inventory Management Implement and monitorcosting methods (standard/marginal/absorption costing) . AnalyzeBill of Materials (BOM), raw material costs, and overheads . Conductvariance analysisto control production costs. 3. Taxation & Compliance Ensure compliance withGST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory requirements . Handletax audits, statutory audits, and internal audits . Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities. 4. Internal Controls & Process Improvement Establishinternal financial controlsto prevent leakages and fraud. ImproveERP/SAP-based financial systemsfor efficiency. Conductrisk assessmentsand implement corrective measures. 5. MIS & Decision Support Generatemanagement reports (MIS) and cost-benefit analysis . Provide financial insights forcapital expenditures (CapEx) and operational expenditures (OpEx) . Support plant leadership in financial decision-making. 6. Statutory & Legal Compliance Ensure adherence toCompanies Act, labor laws, and industry-specific regulations . Manageinsurance policies and claims related to plant assets . Key Requirements: ✅Qualification:Chartered Accountant (CA) – Additional CMA (Cost Accountant) is a plus. ✅Experience:4–10 years inmanufacturing, plant accounting, or industrial finance . ✅Skills Required: Strong knowledge ofcosting, taxation, and audit principles . Experience withSAP, ERP, Tally, or other accounting software . Analytical mindset withproblem-solving abilities . Strong knowledge ofExcel, financial modeling, and MIS reporting .
