Job Title: QA Engineer with Appium ExpertiseLocation: Remote/HyderabadJob Type: ContractDuration: 12 MonthsJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with expertise in Appium to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile automation testing, ensuring the quality and performance of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for Android and iOS applications.Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing on mobile applications.Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.Implement and execute test automation frameworks for continuous testing.Integrate test scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, etc.).Troubleshoot and analyze test failures, identifying root causes and working with developers for resolution.Maintain and enhance the mobile automation test suite for scalability and reliability.Ensure best practices in mobile testing, including device compatibility and UI/UX testing.Required Skills & Qualifications:3+ years of experience in QA automation with Appium.Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.Experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.Hands-on experience with mobile app testing tools (ADB, XCUITest, Espresso, Charles Proxy, Postman).Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.Understanding of REST API testing and automation.Experience in working with cloud-based testing platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm, etc.).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and mobile containerization.Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).Certifications in ISTQB, Appium, or Selenium are a plus.
