We are a publicly listed, AI-first, platform-driven services company specializing in mission-critical solutions for communication, data management, and process automation across the BFSI, Telecom, and Government sectors.Role OverviewA seasoned AVP – Sales & Account Management (BFSI) is being sought to lead, develop, and enhance a high-performing account management team. The role is focused on driving growth within key BFSI customer accounts by fostering deep relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering value-added solutions. A proven leadership background in account management, team building, and revenue growth within the BFSI sector is required.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team Development· A world-class account management team must be built, mentored, and led with a strong focus on customer success and growth.· Best practices, processes, and KPIs for account management are to be defined and implemented to ensure consistent performance.· Succession planning and a culture of continuous learning and excellence should be fostered within the team.Account Strategy and Growth· Strategic plans to grow revenue and strengthen engagement within key BFSI accounts must be developed and executed.· Upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the company’s portfolio of solutions should be identified and pursued in collaboration with account managers.· Delivery excellence and customer satisfaction are to be ensured to drive renewals and long-term partnerships.Customer Relationship Management· Strong executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across BFSI customer accounts must be established and maintained.· Strategic account challenges must be addressed by serving as an escalation point, reinforcing trust and credibility.· Customer collaboration should be ensured to align solutions with their evolving business objectives.Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment· Close coordination with sales, delivery, marketing, and product teams is required to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.· Regular feedback must be provided to product and leadership teams to influence roadmaps and maintain competitiveness in the BFSI space.Business Growth and Revenue Management· New opportunities to expand wallet share within accounts must be identified and leveraged.· Account planning and forecasting processes should be driven, ensuring accurate pipeline visibility and revenue predictability.· Growth targets for existing accounts must be met and exceeded to contribute significantly to the organization’s overall revenue goals.· Risks within accounts should be identified and mitigated to ensure sustained profitability and growth.Market Insights and Thought Leadership· Trends, challenges, and opportunities within the BFSI industry should be continuously monitored to anticipate client needs.· The company’s thought leadership and expertise must be represented at industry events, conferences, and forums.Experience:· 15+ years of experience in account management, client success, or sales leadership, with a strong focus on the BFSI sector.· A proven track record of growing and managing large-scale customer accounts while achieving revenue targets.· Experience in leading and managing large account management teams across geographies.· Familiarity with technology solutions and services tailored for BFSI clients.· A team of Account Managers must have been managed for at least three years.Skills and Competencies:· Strong industry connections within the BFSI segment in Mumbai must be demonstrated.· A history of successfully protecting, growing, and adding new logos within the BFSI sector while driving revenue growth is required.· Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.· The ability to engage and build relationships with C-suite executives.· Strategic thinking capabilities with a focus on execution and delivering measurable results.· Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.· An analytical mindset to assess risks, prioritize initiatives, and ensure profitability.Reporting Structure:· The role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
