Job Title: Quality Engineer – Galvanizing Material InspectionLocation: ChakanDepartment: Quality ControlReports To: Quality ManagerJob Type: Full-Time Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team, responsible for the inspection and quality control of galvanizing materials. The ideal candidate will ensure that all galvanized materials meet industry standards and customer requirements, while improving processes and maintaining high levels of product quality. Key Responsibilities:Material Inspection: Perform thorough inspections of galvanized materials to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.Testing & Reporting: Conduct tests such as coating thickness, adhesion, uniformity, and appearance. Prepare detailed inspection reports with recommendations for improvement or corrective actions.Quality Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards, including ASTM, ISO, and other industry-specific requirements related to galvanizing.Non-conformance Management: Identify defects or non-conformances in galvanized materials and work with production teams to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.Process Improvement: Analyze existing inspection processes and contribute to improvements in product quality, testing methodologies, and inspection techniques.Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, quality reports, and corrective actions. Ensure proper documentation for audits and traceability.Collaboration with Production Teams: Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of quality-related issues, contributing to process optimization.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Experience:5-6 years of experience in quality management, with at least 3 years focused specifically Galvanising material inspection.
