Mechatronics Engineer – CAD & Simulation Location: Sarjapur, Bangalore Experience: 2–6 years Type: Full-time About the Role: We’re seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Mechatronics Engineer to join our multidisciplinary product development team. You’ll work on the design and simulation of advanced electromechanical systems that combine motion, control, mechanics, and electronics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both physical product design and virtual validation through modeling and simulation. Key Responsibilities: Design complex electromechanical assemblies using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent) Develop and analyze system-level models using MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape Perform multi-domain simulations: mechanical, electrical, thermal, and fluidic systems Work closely with electrical, firmware, and controls teams to ensure integrated system performance Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-ups, and DFM/DFA evaluations Validate simulation results against experimental data and refine models accordingly Generate detailed documentation, BOMs, and simulation reports Participate in prototyping and testing of mechatronic sub-systems Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 2+ years of experience in CAD-based mechanical design (SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent) Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape Experience in modeling multi-domain systems: motors, lead screws, sensors, actuators, thermal and/or fluid dynamics Hands-on understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and real-world mechanical tolerances Solid fundamentals in mechanics, dynamics, and controls Familiarity with embedded systems or sensors/actuators is a plus Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred (Nice-to-Have): Experience with Simscape Multibody, Simscape Fluids, or thermal modeling Exposure to automation, robotics, or consumer appliance design Experience working with cross-functional product development teams Knowledge of FEA/structural simulation tools (Ansys, Abaqus, or similar) Why Join Us?
