Join us in our mission to drive innovation and make a global impact in the medical technology sector. Job Summary:The Mechanical Production Engineer will play a critical role in the hands-on assembly of medical devices involving plastic and metal components. The position entails ensuring seamless integration of vendor-supplied parts, adherence to assembly protocols, and execution of product-level testing before packaging and storage. This role demands strong production acumen and a proactive approach to maintaining quality and timelines.The engineer will ensure all necessary documentation in line with ISO 13485 Systems & shop floor safety while working closely with other team members. Key Responsibilities:·      Assemble mechanical and electromechanical parts as per technical drawings, SOPs, and work instructions. ·      Ensure dimensional accuracy, fit, and finish of all mechanical components during integration. ·      Oversee unit testing post-assembly for performance, safety, and quality validation. ·      Support packaging, labeling, and storage operations to ensure compliance with company standards. ·      Liaise with vendors for incoming part verification and collaborate with QA to address any deviations. ·      Contribute to production documentation, including process checklists, inspection logs, and traceability. ·      Participate in problem-solving and corrective actions related to production defects or rework. ·      Ensure workplace safety, 5S, and cleanliness throughout all operations. ·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Procurement, Stores, QA) for smooth operations.  Qualifications:·      Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering. ·      1–2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, preferably within medical device or similar regulated domains.·      Strong understanding of production shop floor documentation like work instructions, process flow, assembly check sheets, product and process parameters etc·      Familiarity with ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements for medical devices.·      Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyse various issues and propose effective solutions.·      Collaborative individual with knowhow of best manufacturing practices and experience of working in cross-functional teams.·      Awareness on housekeeping, 5S Activities, personal protective equipment (PPEs)
