Ltd. (MGS) is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Mizuho Bank, Ltd. and it was established as part of Mizuho’s corporate strategy of creating a centralized processing center for outsourcing banking and IT related operations from Mizuho’s global offices and group companies. We are expanding our operations in the APAC, EMEA and US region and seeking a detail-oriented and proactive KYC Analyst to strengthen our compliance team. Job Summary: The KYC Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive due diligence and customer verification processes to mitigate risks associated with money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: Perform customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews on new and existing clients. Analyze customer information, documents, and transaction patterns to identify potential risks. Ensure compliance with local and international anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. Collaborate with relationship managers, legal, and risk teams to support KYC processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date KYC records in compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Assist in periodic KYC reviews and regulatory audits. Identify process improvements and participate in enhancing KYC procedures and controls. Stay updated on changes in AML regulations and emerging financial crime risks, particularly within the APAC region. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Minimum of [3-10 years] of experience in KYC, AML, or financial crime compliance roles. Strong knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks and global AML standards & compliance regulations. Proficiency in KYC/CDD systems and tools. Strong Knowledge of Corporate & Investment banking KYC Process. Expertise in Risk Assessment, PEP & Sanctions related topics and UBO identification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder’s interaction. Preferred Skills: Professional certifications related to KYC/AML/FCC are highly desirable. Experience in KYC Onboarding, Periodic reviews, Remediations and Financial Crime Compliance. Multilingual capabilities, especially in languages relevant to the APAC region, are a plus. Why Join Us?
