We areone of India’s largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney,Warner Bros; WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few. Apart from selling products withthemed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand alsois at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends. If you identify with what we do and are interestedin being a part of an aggressively growing brand, we would love to have you onBoard!Position Summary:The product developer is responsible for the overall execution and development of the product from the conceptualization, design, development and sampling. Product development includes a product's entire journey -- from the initial idea to after its market releaseThe product developer is responsible for the overall execution and development ofthe product, from concept to production, emphasizing category and performancematerials within apparel. This position collaborates with the Product DevelopmentManager, Technical Design, Materials, Design, Merchandising, Quality, andProduction/Sourcing teams to execute product initiatives utilizing creative thinkingand problem-solving skills.Roles & Responsibilities:Coordination with designer related to sampling requirementProduct development – fabric and sample development.Preparation of sampling order for the sampling tailors – To interpret style techpack received from the designers and explain style requirement and style detailing to sampling master and pattern master for new samples and corrections.Correcting pattern based on FIT and Size set commentsLooking into quality aspect of the samples.Following up sampling processes end to endSubmission of sample to designers and follow up sample approvalsTo monitor approval status to ensure on-time sample delivery.Handing over sampling comments and style files to production merchandiser to communicate the same to vendors and factories.Create Specification sheets with graded measurements, fit comments, andpattern corrections per the fit requirement.To maintain accurate records of all communication, to ensure smoothworkflow and problem resolution. Also preparing TNA charts.Competencies & Abilities :2-3 years of experience in garment manufacturing and the fashionindustry is strongly preferred.Well rounded experience in Womenswear CategoryExperience with technical performance apparel fit and constructionspecifically in theWomenswear category.Degree in Apparel / Fashion Design or a related major.Strong people management and communication skills.Highly detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of garments, fabrics, trims, and accessories.Creative by nature with a good knack for design ideation.Proficient with Microsoft Office / Google Suits and Adobe Illustrator.Strong sense of urgency, and attention to detail.Education / Qualification :Diploma/ Degree in Graphic Design or Visual Arts is a must.The candidate should have a background in Graphic Design/ Visualcommunication or 2+ years of relevant experience in the field.Experience in Fashion / Apparel/ E -commerce industry is plus.Basic understanding of the Patterns.Strong fashion sense and updated with current and upcoming trends.
