Job OverviewThis role asked for overview of the engineering from the view point of it's constructability. It includes space availability to carry out construction of the proposed facilities, their sequencing, evaluation of manuevering aspect of the construction vehicles, contruction related interfaces line power, water, waste management, access to the plant / construction site to ensure buildable and cost-effective solutions. This is to be carried out to minimize surfacing of the potential construction challenges during construction. This is to be fulfilled by close interaction with design team for identify the bottlenecks and prepare mitigation plan to ensure minimum hurdles during implementation of the Project facilities.ResponsibilitiesConstructability Review: Conduct thorough overview of the design documents from the view point of constructability aspects,Collaboration & Coordination: Closely work with multidisciplinary teams to understand the challenges involved and figure out mitigation plan,Cost Optimization: Identify areas for cost optimization without compromising on safety, quality, or project schedule, and provide recommendations for more efficient construction methods.Risk Management: Evaluate design plans for potential construction risks and work with the project team to develop strategies to mitigate those risks.Construction Sequencing: Support in the development of detailed construction sequencing plans, ensuring that all stages of construction are well-planned and executed with minimal interference.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive constructability review presentation pack identifying all bottlenecks and proposed mitigation and present to all stakeholders including Client,Continuous Improvement: Record all lessons learn from the previous projects and ensure it's incorporation in to ongoing and future project planning.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent disciplineRequired SkillsStrong understanding of construction methods, sequencing of implementation of various facilities for medium scale heavy / specialized Industrial Projects.Proficient in preparation and presentation for the constructability review / analysis to various stakeholders.Familiarity with project management software's like MS Project, Primavera or similar tools).Shall be able to read and interpret the design drawings and inter disciplinary requirements for seamless implementation of the Project elements.
