Integrity, experience, honesty, people, humanity, and passion for excellence are some other adjectives that define this global technology leader.SAP ABAP Expert & BTP/Clean Core development SpecialistResponsibilities:Lead ABAP development using BTP and Clean Core methods to deliver complex, best-practice SAP solutions.Application and implementation of clean core principles, including the classification of developments according to tier models.Use of the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) for modern ABAP developments as well as classic ABAP programming.Use of the Application Extension Methodology (AEM) to make decisions between on-stack and side-by-side developments.Use and adaptation of APIs within S/4 and on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).Checking API availability and technical feasibility using the SAP Business Hub Accelerator.Optimization of HANA database accesses and queries.Versioning, deployment and testing of in-house developments in quality assurance and production environments.Carrying out code reviews, error analyses and performance optimizations in SAP.Integration of external systems in SAP via interfaces such as OData and RFC (Remote Function Call).Create and maintain custom user interfaces using SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 technologies, ensuring a modern and intuitive user experience.Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions and user interface designs.Develop and maintain custom Fiori applications, modify existing Fiori apps, and create responsive web-based user interfaces using SAPUI5.Integrate custom ABAP programs and Fiori applications with other SAP modules and external systems as needed.Utilize SAP BTP services to build and deploy applications, promote and implement SAP Clean Core principles.Design complex system interfaces, ensuring smooth integration and data consistency across SAP modules and third-party tools.Coordinate with offshore / onshore teams for timely, quality delivery and act as the liaison between technical teams.Manage and review functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.Provide onsite support throughout the project lifecycle, resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.Working closely with the Basis team to monitor, test and tune application components for optimized performance and integration.Participation in code reviews and in on-going improvements to development standards and methodologies.Be part of the Agile team and participate in all Agile activities (standups, planning, validations, etc.).Preferred Qualifications:Expert-level ABAP development skills with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and Clean Core development strategies.Solid experience in SAP S/4HANA development and optimization.In-depth knowledge of clean core principles and their application.Solid understanding of the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) and classic ABAP programming.Experience with the Application Extension Methodology (AEM).Knowledge of using and adapting APIs within S/4 and on the BTP.Experience in testing API availability and technical feasibility.Expertise in dealing with HANA database access and optimization.Proficient in SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development, with experience in creating modern and responsive user interfaces.Familiarity with SAP's development tools and environments, such as ABAP Workbench, ADT, SAP BAS, and SAP GUI.Experience working with the languages (e.g. SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery).Experience with SAP Web IDE and/or Eclipse IDE and/or HANA Studio.Experience in Fiori Design patterns, expertise in UI Theme designer & understanding of the UI principles.Knowledge of ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC), SQL Monitor & SQL Performance Tuning Worklist (SWLT).Experience with Agile methodology and process.Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work both collaboratively and independently as appropriate.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or similar preferred.Excellent verbal and written (English) communication skills.Experience in integrating external systems into SAP via interfaces.Certification in SAP ABAP (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP) or SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 or SAP BTP is a plus.
