The successful candidate will be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment interacting with all levels of our organization, international team members, and external auditors.All About YouTasks and Responsibilities:Reconcile cash accounts on a weekly/monthly basis, including generating journal entries and other month-end close duties.Prepare all accounting related to the Company’s derivative instruments including mark-to-market journal entries, record settlement execution and perform variance analysis on a monthly basis.Perform prepaid capitalization review, record required reclass journal entries.Obtain an understanding of the awarded grants/incentives, prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations in relation to grant accounting as part of month-end close activitiesResponsible for maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley internal control narratives and testing documentation for areas of responsibilities.Participate in quarterly review and annual audit.Participate in grant/incentive certification activitiesAll listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional tasks and responsibilities.Education and Experience:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field required.
