LOCATION:Khopoli, Raigad Dist, MaharashtraQUALIFICATIONS:Diploma / B.E. / B.Sc. in Paint Technology ORDiploma / B.E. in Mechanical EngineeringEXPERIENCE:10+ years in quality management with expertise in liquid paint, epoxy, shot blasting, 2-pack paint, and paint defect analysis.INDUSTRY:Manufacturing – Tanks, Welding, and Painting ProcessesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manufacturing Process & Quality Assurance:Monitor, improve, and sustain welding and painting processes in tank manufacturing.Implement and enforce quality systems to prevent defects from reaching customers.Conduct statistical process control (SPC) to maintain and improve quality standards.Ensure the first pass yield in pressure testing meets defined benchmarks.Maintain, calibrate, and manage measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.Audit & Compliance:Conduct internal audits and ensure strict adherence to ISO standards.Serve as Management Representative (MR) for ISO 9001.Ensure process checks, deviations, and NCRs are documented, analyzed, and addressed.Maintain compliance with ISO 3834, ISO 14001, and OSHA 45001 standards.Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA):Coordinate with departments to implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective measures to minimize rework and internal rejection.Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and adjust strategies to achieve desired quality outcomes.Risk Management & Process Optimization:Conduct regular Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential risks.Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on process control, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.Ensure proper handling of incoming materials and conduct thorough quality checks.Team Training & Development:Train and qualify workers, inspectors, and quality personnel on job expectations and quality standards.Foster a culture of quality awareness and problem-solving across teams.Implement 5S practices for workplace organization and efficiency.Stakeholder & Customer Coordination:Work closely with customers to address and resolve quality concerns.Ensure timely closure of quality points in alignment with customer requirements.KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Strong expertise in welding processes and ISO/ASME welding standards for thin sheet metal.In-depth knowledge of painting and surface treatment as per IS-5, ISO standards.Understanding of material specifications (CRCA IS-513, Pipes IS-1239, MS materials IS-2062, IS-808).Hands-on experience with assembly and fabrication of thin sheet metal components.Exposure to inspection and statistical quality control (SQC) on continuous production lines.Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques, SQC tools, and 5S methodology.WHAT WE OFFER:A challenging and rewarding role in a globally recognized manufacturing company.Opportunities to implement cutting-edge quality practices and lead process improvements.A collaborative work environment with continuous learning and growth opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.ABOUT US:Founded in 1989, Hi-Tech Radiators Pvt.
