We are seeking an IP Security expert to drive security architecture and strategy for complex, high-performance IP networks.In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to develop secure network designs, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with industry standards. If you thrive in highly scalable, mission-critical environments, we’d love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement IP security architectures for large-scale network environmentsDesign firewall, VPN, and network segmentation strategies to enhance security postureDefine security policies, standards, and frameworks aligned with industry best practicesIdentify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across IP networksConduct risk assessments and implement network hardening strategiesEnsure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and other security standardsConduct forensic investigations and assist with security auditsWork closely with network engineers, security teams, and leadership to align security strategiesProvide technical guidance on secure network architectureEvaluate and recommend security technologies for continuous improvementTechnical Skills & Experience Required:8+ years in network security and architecture within large-scale IP networksStrong expertise in firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and DDoS mitigationDeep understanding of IPSec, SSL/TLS, BGP, MPLS, and SDN securityExperience with security technologies: Cisco, JuniperProficiency in SIEM, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring toolsFamiliarity with zero-trust architecturesRelevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CCIE Security, JNCIE-SEC, PCNSEIf you’re passionate about securing high-performance networks and making a real impact, apply now or send me an email direct to laurence.burrows@
