Your application will not be considered if you don't meet this requirement. About the role:We are looking for an experienced founding ML engineer. You will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge autonomous AI agents and custom machine learning models for data intelligence, financial modeling, and workflow automation. You'll define the ML workflows from scratch and define the architecture with the larger team. You'll report to the co-founder/CTO and will closely collaborate with other full-stack developers.ResponsibilitiesBuild both traditional methods (ARIMA, Prophet, XGBoost) and deep learning architectures (RNNs, LSTM, GRU, Transformers).Train, evaluate, and deploy NLP and NER models in production environments. Your expertise in interpreting test results and performance metrics will be essential for continuous improvement.Develop and integrate AI agent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.Hands-on knowledge of MLOps (model versioning, CI/CD pipelines for ML, and experiment tracking)Design and implement novel techniques, tools, and architectures that improve performance, latency, throughput, and efficiency across a multitude of AI modelsWork alongside the founders to develop automated data integration technology, shape product direction, have direct relationships with customers, and help build out our team.Required QualificationsMust have 5+ years of machine learning engineering experienceDeep Learning Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, including experience with RNNs, LSTM, GRU, Transformers, or CNNs.Time-Series Forecasting: Track record of working with large-scale time-series data for forecasting (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM).Programming & Data Engineering: Strong Python skills (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn), familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, and data pipeline tools (Spark, Airflow) a plus.Cloud & Containerization: Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Docker/Kubernetes for deploying and scaling deep learning modelsReinforcement Learning & NLP: Exposure to RL methods or large language models for AI agent enhancement is highly valued.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environmentFeel comfortable sharing feedback early and often, as well as receiving feedbackFluent in written and spoken EnglishBonus pointsE-commerce or Retail Domain: Familiarity with inventory management, pricing strategies, or supply chain optimization.Proven track record of building successful AI productsAgentic frameworks: Familiarity with autonomous systems, multi-agent frameworks, or reinforcement learning is a plus.Contributions to top open-source projectsAdditional detailsThis is a remote position in India, but you are expected to work certain hours of the day in US time zonesFull-time commitment is requiredCompetitive monthly salary will be offeredThis job doesn't provide any immigration sponsorship.
