We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team, with a focus on the gaming industry. In this role, you will ensure our slot games and platform meet all regulatory standards and licensing requirements. You will work closely with legal teams, developers, and auditors to maintain compliance and mitigate risks. Your expertise in gaming regulations and proactive approach to compliance will be key in ensuring the legality and integrity of our products.Responsibilities:Regulatory Compliance & Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with local, national, and international gaming laws and regulations affecting slot games. Monitor changes in legislation and adjust compliance processes accordingly. Hold overall responsibility for ensuring regulatory compliance in assigned markets, including responsible gaming, AML, customer complaints, regulatory proceedings, and marketing content.Compliance Audits and Assessments: Regularly audit slot games to ensure compliance with gaming regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Identify risks and recommend corrective actions for continuous compliance.AML, KYC Policies, and Data Protection: Develop and implement Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations, establishing processes for data collection, storage, and protection.Licensing, Certification & Market Entry Compliance: Ensure all slot games are properly licensed and comply with jurisdictional requirements. Oversee the certification process for game fairness, RNG, RTP, and payout structures. Manage the full compliance lifecycle for new market entries, including assessing licensing requirements and regulatory expenses.Contract and Document Management: Review contracts and agreements related to slot games to ensure they meet legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain documentation for licensing, certification, and compliance reporting.Liaison with Regulatory Bodies: Serve as the main contact for gaming authorities, managing applications, audits, and investigations. Handle legal disputes, complaints, and litigation, coordinating with external legal counsel as needed.Game Fairness and Integrity: Ensure slot games comply with fairness standards, including RNG, RTP, and payout ratios, ensuring trustworthy and transparent gameplay.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal and operational risks related to slot game operations. Proactively address potential compliance challenges.Employee Training: Train internal teams on the latest regulatory developments, slot game compliance, and operational protocols to ensure alignment with industry standards.Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to keep the company ahead of potential compliance challenges and maintain industry leadership.Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Compliance and wider Compliance Team to uphold standards and embed a culture of compliance across the business. Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Technical Compliance, and Assurance teams to ensure alignment.Regulatory Engagement & External Partnerships: Maintain positive relationships with regulators and external compliance vendors, lead regulatory engagements, and interact with consultants to address business needs.Advertising and Marketing Compliance: Ensure that advertising and marketing activities comply with legal standards, responsible gaming regulations, and internal policies.Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Assess compliance risks within managed projects, plan mitigation steps, and communicate implications to stakeholders.Knowledge Documentation & Internal Communication: Ensure the creation and maintenance of compliance knowledge documentation for Legal, Account Management, Sales, and Technical teams.Technical Compliance Oversight: Closely collaborate with the Technical Compliance Manager to set priorities, oversee certification validity, and trigger recertifications as needed.Due Diligence & Customer Base Monitoring: Monitor due diligence details of the customer base in coordination with the Account Management team.Additional Projects & Stakeholder Support: Assist with other projects as required and serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding compliance-related issues or questions.Qualifications:Experience in gaming industry: A minimum of 3 years working in compliance roles within the iGaming industry, with hands-on experience in slot games compliance management.Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in compliance or gaming law are a plus.Professional Experience: Several years of experience in compliance, legal, or related fields, with specific knowledge of the iGaming sector being highly beneficial.Knowledge of Laws and Regulations: In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment affecting the iGaming industry, including gaming-specific laws, regulations, and guidelines related to slot games.Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess risk, conduct audits, and monitor compliance. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and regulatory bodies.Advanced English Level – Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external partners.
