We are a team of experienced Y Combinator founders building a cutting-edge, multi-modal AI-agent solution for the healthcare sector. Our mission is to streamline practice operations and improve patient engagement by leveraging AI technologies to solve inefficiencies in an antiquated industry. We have strong traction and a working MVP. We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer (New Grad) from a Top 50 engineering university with a solid foundation in Python and an interest in AI/ML. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate looking to grow their career in software engineering and make an impact on the healthcare industry, while working alongside an experienced team of founders.What You’ll Do: • Develop and maintain software solutions using Python, Javascript, and other relevant technologies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, product managers, and founders, to deliver features aligned with business goals • Write and maintain technical documentation, including design docs and user guides • Work on integrating and developing APIs that interact with healthcare systems (e.g., EHRs) • Contribute to backend services for AI-driven products • Automate testing and workflows using tools like Playwright and other browser automation frameworks • Learn and apply AI/ML techniques such as natural language processing (NLP), data modeling, and semantic extraction • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software systems for performance and scalability • Assist in database management using PostgreSQLWhat We’re Looking For: • Proficiency in Python and Javascript • Some familiarity with browser automation tools like Playwright is a plus • Basic knowledge of databases, particularly PostgreSQL • Interest in AI/ML/NLP technologies and their applications in solving real-world problems • Strong problem-solving skills and a hacker mentality to figure things out and find solutions quickly • Good written and spoken communication skills in English • A recent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and challenges • Enthusiasm for working in an early-stage startup and contributing to its successWhy Join Us: • Work alongside a highly motivated and experienced team of founders with multiple successful exits • Be part of an early-stage startup revolutionizing AI in healthcare • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI/ML projects in an industry with massive growth potential • Fast-paced and collaborative work environment that values innovation and creativityIf you are passionate about AI, excited to make an impact in healthcare, and looking for an opportunity to grow your skills as a software engineer, we would love to hear from you!Compensation: 50,000 to 100,000 INR per month + equity
