Job Title

Looking for Senior Data engineer who focuses on building, maintaining and troubleshooting systems to process and analyze large volumes of transaction data for the purpose of detecting and preventing issues within companies' systems. We are constantly working to improve the algorithms, the software, and the cost of processing. The role requires a strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a drive to make things better. This role requires a well-rounded technical background with the ability to troubleshoot and remediate many components of the modern IT infrastructure.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field.Over 9 years of experience in Data Engineering, troubleshooting and remediating infrastructure issues in various environments.Expert level experience in KubernetesSolid understanding of and troubleshooting experience of modern data pipelines (Apache Kafka etc.)Understand and Coding expertise in Shell scripting and Python is a MUSTExpertise in modern data repositories (S3, RDBMS (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MSSQL / etc), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), TimeSeries databases (Prometheus etc.)Experience with Monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk etc.)Experience with Docker, Kubectl, Jenkins, and GitLab CIStrong analytical skills are required for debugging production issues, providing root causes, and implementing the mitigation plan.Ability to multi-task across multiple projects, interface with external/internal resources, and provide technical leadership to junior team members.Flexibility to work as a member of matrix-based diverse and geographically distributed project teams.Experience of working in Agile teams.
