Ltd.Salary: As per industry standardsPosition OverviewThe Field Application Scientist (FAS) will serve as a technical liaison between the company and its customers, providing expertise and support for the company's scientific products and technologies. The FAS will play a crucial role in customer success by ensuring optimal use and application of our products, contributing to sales growth, and fostering strong customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesPre- and Post-Sales SupportCollaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the sales process, including product presentations and answering technical questions.Support post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product implementation.Participate in trade shows, conferences, and seminars to represent the company and engage with potential customers.Technical Support and TrainingProvide on-site and remote technical support to customers, helping them to effectively use and troubleshoot the company's products.Conduct product training sessions and demonstrations for customers and internal teams.Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and application notes.Customer EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.Assist customers in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of results.Collect and communicate customer feedback to the product development and marketing teams.Documentation and ReportingDocument customer interactions and support activities in the company’s CRM system.Prepare detailed reports on customer visits, technical issues, and solutions provided.SkillsStrong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with laboratory techniques and instrumentation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Additional RequirementsWillingness to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time) to customer sites and Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not encompass all the tasks and responsibilities that the role may entail.
