Automation Testing Engineer LOCATION – HYDERABAD/BENGALURU Energeate Business Solutions Pvt Ltd is a boutique management consulting organization that helps customers worldwide with their India strategy. Energeate is working with a multi-national client to help set up a technology team in Hyderabad/Bengaluru.   Overview: The Automation Testing Engineer is responsible for leveraging software automation skills to enhance testing processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software quality and will ensure that the software testing is comprehensive leading to delivering high-quality, world-class software applications. This role requires strong experience in software automation and expertise in the Playwright tool is highly preferred. The Automation Testing Engineer will create automated test cases from test scripts and requirements documents based on a test strategy to ensure complete coverage. They will create and use common libraries, create and access data from external files like Excel, create test suites for various purposes, run tests manually when automation is not feasible, and integrate test results with test management applications like TestRail or HP ALM.   Key Responsibilities: Test Case Creation: Ability to create test cases from test scripts and requirements documents based on a test strategy, ensuring complete coverage. Setup and use common functions and libraries, create test data and access them from external files. Automated Test Scripts: Ability to create automated test scripts. Ideally using Playwright, but experience in other tools also will be considered Test Suites Creation: Creating test suites by assembling test cases for different purposes like smoke testing, full regression testing, module testing, etc. Manual Testing: Ability to run tests manually in cases where automation is not yet done or is not feasible. Integration with Test Management Tools: Integrating the test results with a test management application like TestRail or HP ALM. SOP and regulatory compliance: The testing processes and documentation must strictly follow the laid out SOPs and also adhere to CSV and other regulatory guidelines.   Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.   Experience: 5+ years’ experience in reputed software or enterprise organizations, with proven track record of understanding and building automated testing systems.   Skills: Software Testing: Strong understanding of software testing principles and practices. Automated Test Case Writing and Reviewing: Proficiency in writing and reviewing test cases. Expertise in Playwright tool preferred. Integration with Test Management Tools: Experience in integrating test results with test management tools. Manual and Automated Testing: Ability to run both manual and automated test cases. DevOps Integration: Experience in integrating test runs into DevOps tools.
