Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Academic Counselor to guide students in selecting the right educational programs and career paths. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one counseling, explain course offerings, and assist with the enrollment process. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of academic programs, and the ability to support students in making informed decisions. Key Responsibilities: Counsel students and parents about course offerings, career prospects, and learning pathways. Assist students in selecting the right programs based on their interests, qualifications, and career goals. Provide detailed information on course curriculum, admission processes, and eligibility criteria. Follow up with potential students via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to ensure successful enrollment. Maintain a database of student inquiries and track conversion rates. Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to support promotional activities and student engagement. Conduct webinars, workshops, and orientation sessions for prospective students. Address student concerns and provide guidance on academic challenges. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and course offerings in the EdTech sector. Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and persuasion skills. Ability to build rapport and empathize with students and parents. Knowledge of various educational programs, courses, and career paths. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Prior experience in counseling, admissions, or sales is a plus. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Experience: 1-3 years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or student advisory roles. Experience in an EdTech institution is preferred.
