XSQUADS Tech Private Limited is a fast-growing game development company committed to delivering high-quality and immersive gaming experiences. We are looking for a skilled 3D Character Artist  to design and create high-quality characters for our games. Job Responsibilities · Design and create high-quality 3D character models , including humanoid, creatures, and NPCs. · Develop detailed character sculpts , topology, and textures for real-time game engines . · Create PBR textures and materials  for realistic and stylized characters. · Work closely with concept artists and animators to ensure character models are optimized for animation and rigging . · Use AI-assisted tools and procedural workflows  to enhance the modeling and texturing pipeline. · Optimize character models for performance while maintaining high visual fidelity . · Implement proper UV mapping, baking, and normal maps  to enhance character details. · Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure characters fit within the game’s visual style. Requirements · Proven experience as a 3D Character Artist in the gaming industry . · Proficiency in Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, or other industry-standard modeling software . · Strong skills in sculpting, topology, retopology, and PBR texturing . · Experience with Substance Painter, Photoshop, or similar tools for texture creation . · Familiarity with game engines like Unity 3D or Unreal Engine . · Understanding of character anatomy, proportions, and design principles . · Ability to create realistic and stylized characters  with attention to detail. · Experience with AI-powered tools for character modeling and texturing . · Strong UV unwrapping, rigging preparation, and optimization skills . Preferred Skills · Knowledge of character rigging and skinning . · Experience in creating hair, fur, and cloth simulations . · Understanding of shader creation and material setups in game engines . · Ability to create modular character assets for customization . · Passion for developing immersive and visually appealing characters .
