Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales & Operations Manager to lead sales and operational functions of our industrial spare parts showroom in Kovilpatti . This role is key to driving revenue growth, improving operational efficiency, and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, operations, and channel development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Retail and Showroom Operations Oversee daily operations of the showroom, ensuring smooth workflow and high service standards Manage inventory levels to ensure availability and minimize stockouts Monitor performance of delivery agents and shop staff, ensuring timely and accurate service Address operational issues promptly and implement best practices across functions 2. Sales and Marketing strategy Execute sales promotions, trade discounts, and marketing campaigns to drive growth Plan and execute online and offline advertisements to improve brand recognition Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial spares market Offer value-added services like just-in-time (JIT) delivery and technical support 3. Business Expansion and Market Intelligence Scout and evaluate new locations for showroom expansion and lead setup Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities Build partnerships with OEMs, suppliers, and service providers to broaden the product range 4. Market Expansion and Strategic Planning Identify potential regions for showroom expansion and develop go-to-market strategies Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions Add new spares and brands based on demand and regional needs 5. Channel Partnership and Dealership Development Develop co-branded marketing initiatives and participate in trade shows and seminars Identify, onboard, and manage dealerships and distribution partners to increase reach Represent the company in industrial exhibitions and networking events Build partnerships with brands, OEMs, and suppliers to expand product portfolio 6. Entrepreneurial Spirit Explore new markets and verticals to diversify business and unlock new revenue streams Act as a local business driver, taking initiative to expand operations and influence regional growth Skillset and Experience Engineering background with strong technical knowledge of industrial components (preferabley in industrial automaiton) 8–10 years of experience in sales and operations management in industrial spares, automation, or related sectors Hands-on experience in channel development and dealership management is a strong plus Proven success in meeting sales targets and improving operational processes Deep understanding of B2B sales, inventory control, logistics, and showroom management Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Comfortable with ERP systems, CRM tools, and digital ordering platforms Strong familiarity with the regional industrial market Ability to travel within the region as needed
