IB PYP French Teacher We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher for our Primary Years Programme (PYP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French language instruction and a commitment to fostering a love for languages among young learners. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive French language curriculum that aligns with the IB PYP framework. Create lesson plans that are dynamic, interactive, and tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Employ various teaching methodologies to engage students in the learning process and enhance their language acquisition skills. Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and enthusiasm for learning French. Assess students’ progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate French language learning across other subjects. Organize and participate in school events, cultural activities, and language fairs to promote French language and culture. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, French Language, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Valid teaching certification or qualification to teach French. Experience teaching French in an elementary or primary setting, preferably within an IB/PYP framework.
