Risk Infrastructure & Monitoring: Design and implement a robust credit risk infrastructure and portfolio monitoring system in partnership with the Analytics, Tech, and Product teams. Underwriting & Growth Optimization: Continuously assess growth opportunities from an underwriting perspective, aiming to improve approval rates while maintaining strong risk guardrails. Credit Limit Strategy: Optimize the strategy for credit limit assignment and periodic revisions (including Credit Limit Increases (CLI) and Decreases (CLD)) to maximize customer spending while ensuring portfolio stability. Portfolio Performance & Compliance: Take ownership of credit losses, portfolio quality, and underwriting compliance, working closely with business and product teams to achieve growth and risk targets per the desired PnL objectives. Qualifications : 2-4 years experience in an analytical role, preferably in consumer credit risk within B2C payments, credit cards, banks, or digital lending. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to approach problems using first principles. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while maintaining assertiveness in key decision-making processes. Experience or exposure in credit risk management, credit cards, BFSI, or digital lending would be preferred Capable of leading projects independently while also working efficiently within a team. Educational background in Economics, Finance, CA, or a related field is preferred.
