What You’ll Do Security Risk Assessment: Conduct product deep dives, threat modeling, and design reviews to proactively assess security risks. Cloud Security Expertise: Evaluate security risks in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), focusing on cloud networking, cloud identities, storage, Kubernetes architecture, and technologies such as web servers, databases, serverless computing, and messaging queues. Architectural Leadership: Define baseline security standards for applications and public clouds, and lead initiatives to mitigate significant platform security risks. Incident Response & Remediation: Collaborate with engineering teams on post-incident activities, roadmap creation, and remediation guidance. Secure Development Lifecycle: Drive Sprinklr’s Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and onboard product teams to ensure secure-by-design principles. Security Automation & Tooling: Identify opportunities for security automation and implement tooling for improved security processes. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, cloud engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to provide security requirements aligned with product and cloud architectures. Stakeholder Engagement: Influence engineering leadership to adopt secure design principles and communicate security risks in business terms. Security Monitoring & Trends: Stay up to date with emerging security vulnerabilities, industry best practices, and evolving security threats. What Makes You Qualified Experience: 10+ years in product/application security and cloud security. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of security controls for modern architectures, including API security, containerisation, and cloud security in at least one CSP (AWS, Azure, or GCP). IAM & Security Protocols: Strong knowledge of IAM concepts, Single Sign-On (OAuth, SAML), secrets management, and microservices security. Threat Modeling & Secure Design: Proven expertise in threat modeling, secure design reviews, and security risk management. Network Security & Compliance: Experience with network segmentation, VPNs, and security compliance frameworks. Security Tools & Automation: Hands-on experience with security scanning tools, CNAPP solutions, and automation for security processes. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate security risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and write business impact reports. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with PSIRT teams on security incidents. Knowledge of AI security, thick client applications, and Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS). Understanding of customer security concerns and experience in defining security specifications for product teams. Public speaking experience at security meetups or conferences.
