JOB TITLE: Senior Executive/Assistant Manager-Travel Desk BUSINESS FUNCTION/ SUB-FUNCTION : Travel Desk Operations LOCATION : Noida Position Overview: We are looking for an excellent Travel Desk Coordinator to craft effective support in corporate travel operations and policies and handle traveling activity and programs. You will be the go-to person for any relevant matter from booking tickets, visa or Hotels to reconciling vendor invoices and manage the expenses while ensuring travel safety. Travel Desk Coordinator doesnt just handle travel arrangements. They should be strategic thinkers and able to create travel policies according to the companys needs. If you add excellent people skills, organizational ability, and a great deal of professionalism, then youre someone wed like to meet. The goal is to ensure employee travel is safe and organized according to company policy. Key Responsibilities: Assist in booking multi-destination international flights and Hotels or any other difficult travel arrangements through designated travel agency. Act as key contacts between GEDU and travel agency or Hotels. Assist in booking cost effective Hotels or Apartments for global locations. Arranging taxi transportation and ground coordination. Assist in finance tasks like submitting statements on a timely basis clearing dues, help with reconciliation, etc. Facilitate the line support with Travel process and OBTs Globally. Monitoring Online Booking tool performance for Support in preparing TMC reporting. Be the ambassador of the Travel Process in GEDU! Developing and maintaining internal working relationships with stakeholders like finance, sales, marketing etc. Identify savings opportunities, efficiency and process enhancements Support in global travel events, on efficiency, process and savings Support in complaint handling Point of contact for visa requirements and e-visa formalities and submission. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Tourism, Hospitality, IATA - UFTAA, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in global travel management or a similar service-oriented role, preferably in a corporate or global organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English at a minimum, second language is a benefit) Experience in Event operations/MICE would be Preferred. Flexibility and a collaborative mindset, with a strong commitment to being an active team player and empowering others to succeed. Prior knowledge in travel planning and/or programs (i.e., Sabre, GDS- Global Distribution System) (e.g., travel agent background) Articulate and resourceful with organizational skills having sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organization, decision making, and time management skills Highly responsive customer service orientation, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultural and organizational boundaries.
