Job Description

For our client's Chandigarh operations, we are looking for a Senior HR professional with 5 years to 8 years of relevant industry experience either in the fashion industry or the D2C domain. Position Overview: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies aligned with the company's goals. This role requires a strong leader who can drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development while fostering a positive workplace environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. HR Strategy Development: • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive growth. • Align HR policies with company goals to ensure a cohesive and high-performing workforce. 2. Talent Acquisition: • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes to attract, hire, and retain top talent. • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline. 3. Employee Engagement: • Design and implement programs that boost employee morale, satisfaction, and retention. • Foster a culture of open communication, feedback, and recognition. 4. Performance Management: • Establish performance appraisal systems that align with company goals. • Provide managers with tools and training to conduct effective evaluations. 5. Compliance and Policy Management: • Ensure all HR policies comply with labor laws and industry regulations. • Regularly review and update company policies to reflect legal changes. 6. Learning and Development: • Create tailored training programs to develop employee skills and leadership abilities. • Identify skill gaps and implement upskilling initiatives. 7. Compensation and Benefits: • Design competitive salary structures and benefits packages. • Conduct benchmarking to ensure industry competitiveness. 8. Employee Relations: • Address employee concerns and conflicts with empathy and professionalism. • Implement grievance redressal mechanisms for swift resolutions. 9. Organizational Development: • Partner with leadership to drive organizational change initiatives. • Foster innovation and collaboration within teams. 10. HR Analytics: • Track key HR metrics and generate insightful reports. • Use data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). • 8+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably within the fashion or retail industry or D2C companies. • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and talent management strategies. • Proven experience in driving employee engagement and organizational development. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
