Dear Candidate, We have a requirement for Product Development Specialist for Isha Life, Coimbatore. Please find below the Job details: External Vendor & Consultant Management: ○ Identify, select, and manage relationships with external vendors, formulators, and consultants for product development. ○ Collaborate with external partners to ensure the timely and efficient development of products in line with brand objectives. ○ Evaluate and negotiate with external partners to secure the best product formulations, pricing, and timelines. ○ Maintain ongoing communication with external teams to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure that project milestones are met. ● Product Development &Formulation: ○ Work with external partners to develop new product formulations, ensuring they align with market needs, customer expectations, and brand vision. ○ Ensure that all product formulations meet regulatory and safety standards, and conduct necessary testing through external labs or consultants. Evaluate and provide feedback on prototypes, recommending improvements to achieve the desired product performance and aesthetics. ● Project Management: ○ Manage product development timelines, ensuring that all projects stay on schedule and within budget. ○ Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams (e.g., marketing, packaging, and quality) to align on product specifications, packaging requirements, and timelines. ○ Coordinate the production of samples, prototypes, and test batches for internal review and approval. ● Regulatory Compliance: ○ Ensure that products developed through external vendors comply with industry regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, REACH, GMP). ○ Collaborate with regulatory teams and external consultants to ensure accurate labeling, claims, and product documentation are submitted for approval. ● Market Consumer Insights: ○ Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to inform the development of new products. ○ Work with the marketing team to incorporate consumer insights and feedback into the product development process. ● Documentation & Reporting: ○ Maintain thorough documentation of the product development process, including product specifications, formulations, testing results, and vendor communications. ○ Provide regular updates to the Product Development Manager and other stakeholders on project progress, timelines, and challenges.
