We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer who will lead and drive detailed process design for water treatment plant and ancillary equipment. Coordinate effectively with Process team members, drafters, and management to ensure designs are fit for purpose and delivered on time according to agreed Project budgets, specifications, and schedules. Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate and coordinate process design goals, priorities, and achievements. Key Responsibilities: Development of concept designs and associated documentation Adherence to Osmoflo’s Quality System for all design work carried out by him and his team. Understand and apply commercial aspects of project (time, cost, warranties) in designs. Lead and work to collaborate with Osmoflo staff including colleagues located in international offices. Participate in HAZOP / HAZID /SIL study for large scale project. Liaise with 3rd party consultants, contractors, and advisors as appropriate. Develop and guide Sales staff to prepare tender documents including process descriptions, technical specifications, and technical schedules. Advise and support the Project team and projects support functions in all areas of process design. Attend and participate in internal and external (customer) project meetings and represent Osmoflo in a professional manner. Inform team leaders, managers, and project teams as soon as any delays to work commitments are identified. Overcome any obstacles to meeting committed deadlines. Contribute significantly to the on time, budget delivery of projects according to agreed specifications and schedules. Participating in design reviews, ISO audits and model reviews. Act as representative of Process design function when required. Technical review: Critical evaluation of the detailed design work undertaken by others in the team. Provide feedback on detailed process design work. Seek opportunities for improvement and resolve OFI raised by other departments. Business Improvement Provide solutions for non-conforming products and safety and environmental incidents. Investigate and close out Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) issues. Contribute to Osmoflo’s culture of innovation by seeking and developing innovations. Contribute to the innovation committee by making suggestions for improvements. Update and maintain systems as required. Ensure compliance to Osmoflo’s quality systems including document management processes. Other Responsibilities: Undertake E-Learnings. Attend all nominated training programs. Technical coaching of less experienced team members by explaining technical and commercial terms, concepts, and processes. Trouble shooting and provide support to commissioning teams as required. About You: Qualifications: Degree Qualified in Chemical Engineering (Essential) Master’s degree in engineering. (Desirable) Certificate or related qualification in Water Treatment. (Desirable) Business Management or related qualifications. (Desirable) Experience: Extensive knowledge of water and/or wastewater process design and water and/or wastewater plant detailed design, including conventional and membrane filtration technologies. Experience of Recycle Plant Design and ZLD plant design. More than 10 years’ experience in Process Design. Experience providing design support to international offices/locations. Experience in project delivery, commissioning and/or operation of water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
