Job Title: ETL Developer/Database Developer Location: Remote Work Timings:6.30PM IST to 3.30AM ISTOverview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Database Developer to join our team and play a critical role in the implementation of a new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) system for our airline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and management, including experience with SQL Server, as well as excellent communication skills to facilitate a smooth system transition, data cleaning, and data transfer. You will also contribute to the front-end and application layer through HTML and Java development, ensuring a cohesive and efficient system.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain database solutions using SQL and PostgreSQL to support the MRO system.Create and optimize stored procedures to enhance data processing efficiency and enforce business logic within the database.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.Create and manage SSIS packages for data integration and migration between various systems.Design and implement ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data.Assist in the maintenance and engineering of business-related applications, providing insights to optimize data utilization.Participate in data cleaning and validation efforts to ensure high-quality and accurate data transfer.Qualifications:Strong proficiency in SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with a solid understanding of database architecture and optimization.Demonstrated experience in creating and managing stored procedures in both SQL Server and PostgreSQL.Proficiency in HTML for front-end development.Proficiency in Java for application layer development.Expertise in creating and managing SSIS packages.Familiarity with ETL processes and best practices.Knowledge of .NET development is preferred, along with experience in maintenance and engineering applications in the aviation sector.Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
