Work from home, UK client, Full-time, BIM Manager position This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well-respected UK Architecture & Planning Firm who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work from Home position and everyday you’ll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop. They are well known for investing significantly into their staff - this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop new skills.Key Points about our clientTheir project "Thames City, London" won in the Landscape Lighting Design category at the LIT Lighting Design Awards.Served as the lighting consultants for a project that was named a winner in the Best of Year Awards by Interior Design magazineThe team comprises professionals from diverse backgrounds such as architecture, product design, electrical engineering, and theatre, enabling them to deliver creative and technically excellent designs.Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in IndiaMinimum Experience: 7+ yearsShift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter)Role and responsibilitiesOverseeing the Production and Delivery of BIM Deliverables Across All Projects. Managing the BIM process from concept through construction. Coordinating with external Revit modelers to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient model development.Ensuring Compliance with BEPs and Maintaining Quality Standards. Interpreting and applying project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs). Conducting QA/QC on models and deliverables to ensure they meet client and company standards before submission.Coordinating with Client and Consultant Teams for Seamless Integration. Acting as the key BIM liaison between the internal design team, client-side BIM teams, and other disciplines (e.g. MEP, architecture). Monitoring external design teams to ensure alignment with project programmer and coordinated outputs.Essential skills and experienceRevit – minimum 5 years’ experience in a professional design environment, with strong capability in model development, documentation, and coordination.BIM management – minimum 2 years’ experience leading BIM workflows, deliverables, and ensuring compliance with BEPs and digital standards.Desired skills and experienceCreated and managed lighting families, schedules, and data within Revit that were tailored to lighting design workflows.Experience creating and managing custom lighting fixture families in Revit, with correct geometry, photometric data (IES/LDT), parameters, and tagging for scheduling.Ability to produce and manage lighting-specific schedules (e.g. fixture types, circuiting, load data, dimming requirements) directly within Revit.Strong understanding of project-specific BEPs and client BIM requirements, with the ability to brief Revit modellers accordingly and carry out QA/QC to ensure full compliance.Ability to develop or refine internal BIM standards and Revit templates to support efficient, consistent delivery across all projects.Experience using Autodesk Design Collaboration (within BIM 360 or ACC) for model coordination, change tracking, and interdisciplinary collaboration.Understanding of ISO 19650 and broader digital construction standards.Job PerksWork-life balance: You will work fixed hours and will never have to work on weekends againLaptop provideFull medical insurance providedLearn and Grow: Learn from highly skilled UK colleagues and other Smart Workers in our active and useful forumsBecome part of the Smart Working family: Take part in games and quizzes, network with like-minded, ambitious, and friendly colleaguesAbout Us:Smart Working recruits' excellent people to work full-time, remotely, and directly for UK businesses on a long-term basis.Once you pass the interview process with Smart Working you will be introduced to our UK client.
