SME – US Property Accounting (Yardi)We provide virtual business process services to various types of overseas clients and this position is to be part of the team which will assist in US Property Accounting for a Real Estate Investment Firm from USA.RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in day-to-day operations of all existing properties and projects under Operations.Provide direct communication with and assistance to tenants. Communicate with all contractors and subcontractors.Respond directly and immediately to property-related issues as they arise.Procure necessary materials or services for property maintenance, as needed.Utilize productivity software to generate and deliver communications for tenants and other stakeholders.Respond to requests from local governments and communities to ensure legal compliance in all managed properties.Maintain and update all construction budgets.Prepare and maintain detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (General Ledger, P&L, Balance Sheet, Accounting Workpapers) for multiple property portfolios on an accrual basis.Reconcile property-level bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivableConduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted financial performance Prepare and submit tax-related documentation, including 1099 forms for vendors Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoices, utility payments, and property-related expensesQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE3+ years of previous experience working with Yardi software (or any other property management system software.3+ years of previous experience in Commercial / Multifamily property management and project management.Proven knowledge and understanding of property management procedures, including legal requirements.Experience using common operating system, such as Microsoft Windows or MacOS.Capability in creating reports and other materials using Microsoft Word and other tools.Detailed-oriented with a notable focus on ensuring and maintaining accuracy in record-keeping.Ability to communicate effectively and positively with current and potential tenants and contractors.Compliance with US Legal Regulatory Requirements related to client’s real estate property leasing business.Advanced Excel customization skills, Report envisaging and presentation skills.Has excellent communication skills; written and verbal.Strong computer skills; experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe, Power BI.Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action.
