The operational flight schedule (daily and seasonal) for the airport is being finalized by the Slot Coordination. The flight schedule as finalized is being shared with all the internal and external stakeholders for their manpower planning, business development activities, resource and equipment planning, shift planning, costing & budgeting, inventory planning, water and power requirements, maintenance activities etc.Slot Coordination provides an operationally efficient environment at the airport by management of airlines demand (flight slots) with the available airport resources. It provides airlines access to the airport with the objective of revenue maximization.Major Activities:Airlines slot requests evaluation (new slot / change of slot / deletion / ad-hoc changes) on day to day basisNegotiation of slots with airlines to avoid congestionEvaluation and approval of airlines slots based on IATA / GOI / Local guidelines and airport capacityShare the closure impact & operational restrictions with scheduled / non-scheduled, domestic/international airlines along with the NotamEvaluation of revised slots based on airlines submissionNegotiation of slots with airlines and finalize the flight schedule Handling flight requests of non-scheduled airlines including VVIP / VIP / CIP flightsDocumentation check & slot evaluationComparison of actual flight data (AODB extract) and planned flight schedule (Score application extract) on monthly basisReport on variance between number of planned and actual movements Report on variance between the actual timing of flights and the approved slot timingsUpdating and monitoring of VTP codes into the flight schedule on seasonal and daily basisProviding the VTP linked flight schedule on fortnightly basis to Airline BillingMonthly communication to all stakeholders regarding the updated flight scheduleAll the changed / additions / deletions to be communicated to concerned stakeholders on daily basisVarious reports preparation on monthly / fortnightly / daily basis to enable smooth slot planning & allocation processYears of Experience (Years of relevant experience required)8 - 15 years of experience in the area of Slot Coordination, Airport Operations, Airline Network & Schedule Planning within airline and airport industry
