Crestron Electronics engineering organization is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join us. The Senior Program Manager would lead cross-functional development teams from design through product delivery. You will be accountable for driving the entire project lifecycle, from product definition through specification, coding, quality assurance, production, and launch to the world. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks, and change control. Cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential.The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior analytical abilities. This means you can roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.Roles and ResponsibilitiesManage and guide large-scale strategic projects and ensure they remain on track to produce the required outcomes within the defined time frame.Work cross-functionality to plan and track software releases across software platform Champion Agile methodology and Scrum framework while being a leader across multiple teams with varying exposure to Agile software development projects.Emphasize project elements that are part of the critical path (the elements that define the overall project length) and ensure they receive attention.Drive to continuously ship and know how to unite and motivate cross-disciplinary teams to do so successfully.Embrace a build-measure-learn mentality that supports innovation.Enjoy the challenge of mediating among different interests and personalities.Own complex projects and manage the risks and dependencies.Consistent communication with all team members, from the core team to stakeholders, management, and beyond.Ensure projects are scoped and defined clearly, with agreed-upon timing and budget.Work with stakeholders to plan 3, 6, 9, and 12 months out.Work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize each accordingly.Lead / Coach development teams to drive adoption of Agile principles and continuous improvement. Celebrate wins and be an advocate for the project team.Basic Qualifications12+ years of experience, with at least 7 years of project management.Deep knowledge with software development methodology (Agile, Scrum, etc.) Experience with task management tools such as Jira and other Atlassian tools. Strong technical background and prior engineering experience Effective working across the full software lifecycle and across engineering disciplines and product lines is required. Experience in organizing large scale projects and delivering quality releases on the schedule.Integrating with manufacturing for a product launch. Strong technical and product/business judgement. Ability to work well across functional groups, to influence and get things done.
