We are expanding our in-house team and looking for a Senior WordPress Developer to work onsite at our Indore headquarters. Role Overview As a Senior WordPress Developer at Supersourcing, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of WordPress projects—from turning Figma designs into fully functional websites, to customizing plugins and themes. You’ll collaborate with design and marketing teams to create multiple landing pages, ensure optimized site performance, and maintain best SEO practices. This role requires strong technical proficiency, a keen eye for UI/UX details, and the ability to work onsite at our Indore HQ. Key Responsibilities End-to-End WordPress Development Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins. Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress layouts. Manage and optimize multiple landing pages, blogs, and other WordPress-driven sites. Performance & Optimization Identify and remove unnecessary plugins to reduce bloat. Implement caching, image optimization, and other strategies to improve site speed. Continuously monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals and overall user experience. UI/UX & SEO Best Practices Collaborate with designers to ensure a cohesive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interface. Implement on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, schema markup, and keyword optimization. Maintain consistent branding and design across all landing pages. Maintenance & Security Perform regular updates on WordPress core, themes, and plugins. Implement security best practices (firewall, malware scans, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, compatibility, and uptime. Collaboration & Leadership Liaise with cross-functional teams (Design, Marketing, Product) to gather requirements. Provide accurate timelines, regular progress updates, and best-practice recommendations. Mentor junior developers, uphold coding standards, and champion quality assurance. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience : 2–10 years of professional WordPress development. Technical Stack : Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Expertise in WordPress theme/plugin development and customization. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). SEO & Performance : Good understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals, including schema markup and analytics. Demonstrable experience optimizing site performance and speed. UI/UX Skills : Ability to convert Figma (or similar design tool) mockups into fully responsive and visually accurate web pages. Proven track record of delivering consistent, high-quality user experiences. Soft Skills : Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Team player with leadership qualities. Nice-to-Have Skills E-commerce : Customization.
