Title: Data Analyst Company: Industry: Beverage manufacturing Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite in Hyderabad, India Duration: 9 month extending contract Must-Haves: 6+ years of experience working in Data Governance or Data Management or Data Stewardship Experience within a global CPG (Consumer Packaged Good) company and/or pricing and promotions of consumer data Strong data management background, understands data, how to ingest data, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship. Advanced data analytical skills, including identification, interpretation and documentation of data patterns, standards, and quality rules Strong SQL knowledge and with the ability to extract data via SQL and write complex queries Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of operational information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures are defined and implemented. Preferred Qualifications: SAP knowledge in one of the following domains: Customer, Material, Vendor, Consumer or Supplier - Job Description We are seeking a Data Steward with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience to support a Pricing & Promotions study by ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and governance of critical data. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining pricing, promotions, sales, and customer data, ensuring alignment across enterprise systems and analytical models. The ideal candidate will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, revenue management, and IT teams to enable data-driven pricing and promotional strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and govern pricing and promotions data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems. • Validate and clean sales, trade spend, discounting, and elasticity data to support pricing and promotional analysis. • Develop and enforce data governance policies, workflows, and quality control processes related to pricing and promotions. • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies in syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, POS data). • Support the integration of pricing and promotions data into analytics platforms such as Azure Databricks, Power BI, and SQL databases. • Work with data engineers and IT teams to ensure proper data ingestion, transformation, and storage. • Collaborate with pricing, revenue management, and marketing teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations. • Monitor pricing and promotions data compliance with internal standards and regulatory Compensation: 7.00-9.00/HR USD
