Job Title: Director, People Function Role: Head of People Function Location: Hyderabad Reports to: Co-founder Position Overview: The Director/Head of Human Resources will serve as a strategic business partner to the executive team, leading the company's HR function to align with the overall business strategy. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, and ensuring the company remains an employer of choice. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic leadership and hands-on expertise to build a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities: HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives. Partner with senior leadership to provide HR insights and recommendations to improve organizational performance and drive growth. Lead organizational design and change management initiatives as needed. Talent Management: Oversee recruitment efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent across all functions. Ensure robust talent development programs are in place to foster continuous learning, career progression, and leadership development. Design and execute employee engagement strategies to build a strong organizational culture. Performance Management: Lead the design and implementation of effective performance management systems, ensuring they are fair, transparent, and foster high performance. Support managers and leaders in performance evaluation, feedback, and goal-setting processes. Compensation & Benefits: Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain employees. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to compensation structures. Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues with a focus on creating a positive and productive work environment. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees in resolving conflicts and addressing concerns. Lead initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization. HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure HR policies, procedures, and systems are up-to-date, compliant, and aligned with business needs. Maintain HR compliance with labor laws, regulations, and best practices. Oversee HR metrics and reporting to drive continuous improvement and support data-driven decision-making. Culture & Leadership Development: Champion the company’s values and ensure they are reflected in HR initiatives and practices. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the organization. Coach and mentor leaders at all levels to build a leadership pipeline. Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a top university or institute.. 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in strategic HR leadership, talent management, and organizational development. Strong knowledge of employment laws, compensation strategies, and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Experience in high-growth, dynamic environments is preferred.
