Job Description: Video Content Managers Role Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Video Content Manager to lead the planning, production, and optimization of our educational video content. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a deep understanding of content workflows, and the ability to coordinate with subject experts, writers, and production teams to deliver high-quality learning experiences. Key Responsibilities 1. Content Planning & Calendar Ownership ● Develop and maintain a structured weekly/monthly content calendar aligned with academic goals and learning themes. ● Conduct competitive benchmarking and trend analysis to ensure content freshness and relevance. ● Ensure a 2–4 week lead time across all stages—ideation, scripting, production, and post-production. 2. Content creators / influencers & Talent Management ● Identify, onboard, and manage Content creators / influencers based on content requirements and academic value. ● Coordinate expert schedules, briefings, and feedback loops. ● Maintain a centralized database of expert profiles, availability, and deliverables. 3. Script Development Coordination ● Create detailed content briefs with learning objectives, tone guidelines, and reference material. ● Track script progress and ensure timely delivery with minimal revision cycles. ● Align scripts with platform standards, audience preferences, and expert insights. 4. Production Lifecycle Management ● Manage the end-to-end content production workflow in collaboration with shoot teams, editors, and operations. ● Use project management tools to monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks. ● Ensure timely delivery of content with consistent quality standards. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration ● Coordinate with design, editing, marketing, and quality control teams for seamless execution. ● Facilitate timely handoffs and information flow between content and support teams. 6. Content Performance Monitoring ● Analyze video performance metrics (e.g., watch time, drop-off points, rewatch percentage). ● Integrate feedback and insights into future content planning and revisions. ● Continuously improve engagement through data-driven content enhancements. 7. Documentation & Process Optimization ● Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the entire content lifecycle. ● Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements. ● Maintain weekly trackers for deliverables, quality checks, and timelines.
