Rubamin is a 40-year-old company which has developed world class capabilities in extracting and purifying non-ferrous and critical metals from primary and secondary sources and manufacturing value added chemicals based on market needs andopportunities. The technologies to achieve Rubamin’ s growth have been developed in-house by Rubamin through its own R&D team.Rubamin has now leveraged its expertise in hydrometallurgy and solvent extraction to enter the Lithium-Ion Battery recyclingarea and is currently engaged in building a full stack battery recycling business which begins with discharging and dismantling end-of-life batteries and Gigafactory waste all the way to manufacture of pCAM (precursor cathode active materials). Beyond battery recycling, Rubamin envisages a future where it applies the principles of the circular economy to novel end markets that use moves further into developing further value-added critical materials including Rare Earths from both primary and secondarysources. Key Responsibilities: Business Intelligence: Gathering intelligence on battery industry to get complete, accurate and useful data on the industry. Facilitating the factoring in of such data/intelligence in business strategy. Government and Industry Liaison: Government Liaison and contacts. Industry contact- attending seminars and being part of industry initiatives and influencing policy. Business Development: Tie-ups with OEMs for Raw Materials Ensuring timely and cost-effective supply Marketing: Branding, managing website and keeping it current, effective presentations, media outreach. Commercial Support to the Battery team: Providing commercial support and inputs to the battery team as required. Key Qualifications & Experience Education: MBA / CA/ Engineer. Experience: 3-5 years of industry experience in Marketing of Chemicals/Metals Competencies: Intelligent, quick learner. Self-starter. Commercially smart and willing to learn required technical expertise. Great interpersonal skills. Very good communication – written & presentations
